Blessings of the Quran…

Bismillah,

Alhamdulilah, all praise is due to Allah who is Al-Haleem, the most forbearing! Alhamdulilah. As mentioned, I’ve been revamping my lectures and below is parts of one of my favorite of all time! I absolutely enjoyed the lecture the first time I listened to it and it has truly reawakened my love of this blessed book! Subhana’Allah, one of the parts in the lecture is when Shaykh Yasir Qadhi mentioned that this Quran is a cure for all diseases i.e whether they are of the heart (doubt of faith, lack of knowledge), soul (desire), or body (Physical pain). I ask Allah to make our hearts, souls, and all things healed and greatly effected by the best of all speech-kallaumallah, that which Allah spoke, the angels recorded and preserved, and brought down to our noble messenger sal allahu alayhi wa sallam.

Wanunazzilu mina alqurani ma huwa shifaon warahmatun lilmumineena wala yazeedu alththalimeena illa khasaran

17:82 We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss.

Blessings of the Quran: Shaykh Yasir Qadhi

So blessed is the book of Allah that Allah praises Himself because of the revelation of it.

Alhamdulilah latheena anzalah Abdullah kitaba walama yaj3allaho 3ibajaa (no crookedness, no misguidance)
TabarakAllah nazal furqana 3ala abdhi  (Exalted is He who sent down the Furqan-the criterion that distinguishes right from wrong)

Allah deserves to be worshiped and praised for sending down such revelation. 1.07!

Allah calls this the best speech; “Allahu Nazala Ahsananal Hadeethi Kitaaban Mutashabihaan” Allah has revealed the best of speech! Subhana’Allah.

Kitaaban Mutashabihaan: it’s a book that compliments one another-taking as a whole compliments one another.

A Mercy and a Guidance. Wananuza minal Quran mahuwa  shifan wa rahmatun lil mumineen.

The Quran is a cure-shifa-for the disease of the heart, disease of the soul, and disease of the body. Disease of heart=is doubt-questions of what is purpose of life-etc. why were here-all these answers found in the book of Allaha Azza Wa jala.

Disease of the soul: are desires -the Quran is a cure for this. Cure for the physical disease as well-physical -The Prophet sal allahu sallam would use it for sickness-complete cure.

Mercy for the believers.

“Yaa Ahahu naas Qadjatikum moa3idatun minrabhim wa shifaon lima fi sudoor. Something that should cause to reflect to ponder over has been revealed to you.

The worst disease is the disease of the heart-when you do not know your faith, or your purpose of life. When you don’t know what is right.  (note to self: repeat of shifaa-its healing of the hearts-and all over!)

Allah has commanded us and told us to rejoice of its revelation and comman-we should be happy about it. Qul Bifadilla bithalika rahmatullahi fal yafriho  Huwa Qayran mima yajma3oon- Fadl-the bounties of Allah

Revelation of the book and Islam-the scholars say that-let them rejoice at!
“Huwa Qayran mima Yajma3oon” -this is more better-then all the wealth or anything-this meaning Quran and Sunnah is better than that!

Allah describes the believers in the Quran as those who “Allathena Atayanahmul Kitaab yafrahonoo bi unzilla Ilayh” Those who we have given the book, when the hear the quran they rejoice” They are happy at the revelation of the Quran

In a hadeeth the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa sallam said Abshiro! Rejoice -Faina hatheeal Quran, tarfu biyadiAllah wa tharifu bi aydikum“one side of it is with you and the other is part of it is in the hands of Allah Azza wa jala” As long as you hang on to it you will never be destroyed or go astray”
